Faculty Club continues to improve the quality of its products and services on a daily basis. This is done by a continuous customer survey and the implementation of related improvement plans.
After receiving the bronze award (Bronzen Versnelling) in 2005 and the silver award (Zilveren Versnelling) in 2006, Faculty Club was presented the golden award (Gouden Versnelling) from the Flemish Centre for Quality Assurance (VCK) in 2007. And our efforts did not stop there.
Quality continues to be a priority for us. Faculty Club has participated in the pilot project ‘Well Done!' (Goed gedaan!), which aims to tackle potential errors or disadvantages for customers as well as employees through careful analysis of the methods and processes adopted within an organisation. Your customer feedback is what helps us to keep making changes and improvements where needed.
Faculty Club also takes part in the K2 project, a flexible scheme for sustainable organisational development targeted at enterprises who strive towards the continuous improvement of their processes and performance. With its peak at 8.611 metres, K2 (Ketu in Urdu) is the second-highest mountain in the world, located in the Karakoram mountain range in the Himalayas, near the Pakistan-China border. The K2 is regarded as the Holy Grail among mountaineers and experts consider it to be the most difficult mountain to climb. K2 is a well-structured plan developed by the Flemish Centre for Quality Assurance (VCK) to continually improve organisations based on the EFQM model. Various aspects are taken into account: leadership qualities, overall company policy, the management and involvement of employees, the collaboration with suppliers and local stakeholders, the organisation's internal processes and innovation policies. The first step in this process is K2d. On 26 November 2010 Faculty Club received the K2d acknowledgement of ‘first-class project improvement' from Flemish Minister-President Kris Peeters.
As a member of the Flanders Quality Club, we put the principles of continuous product improvement and customer-oriented service into practice on a daily basis. You can help us in our efforts by leaving your suggestions in the suggestion box.
