Van Ophem

This room is located on the second floor of the Infirmerie building. Thanks to the fixed meeting arrangement, the room is ideal for meetings, brainstorming sessions and other interactive gatherings.

A piece of history

This room is named after Elisabeth van Ophem, a noble beguine who lived in the Beguinage and died in 1656. She was buried in St. John the Baptist Church, but her tombstone was damaged during the French Revolution, making identification difficult.
