Begga

This room is located on the second floor of the Infirmerie building. Thanks to the fixed meeting set-up, the room is ideal for meetings, brainstorming sessions and other interactive gatherings.

A piece of history

Begga (ca. 693) was the sister of Saint Geertrui and founded a convent in Andenne after the death of her husband. In the 16th century, the idea arose within the Beguine community that she was the founder of the movement, eventually leading to her appointment as co-patron of Beguines by the bishop.
