This room is located on the ground floor of the Infirmary Building and is wheelchair accessible.

A bit of history

The 16th-century Holy Ghost Table provided poor care in the Beguinage, as was common in many parishes. Although beguines had to be financially self-sufficient for at least three years, they could appeal to this institution afterwards in case of need. The room, with its oak beams, sandstone fireplace and restored windows, reflects the interior of the time.
