Lipsius

This hall is located on the ground floor of the Infirmary Building and is accessed by a few steps.

A bit of history

This hall is named after Barbara Lipsius († 1706), who was court mistress for five years and Holy Ghost mistress for 18 years. Together with her sisters Catharina and Johanna, she lived in the house built by their parents in 1661 on Rechtestraat 18. The three sisters are buried in St. John the Baptist Church.
